Ricoh GRD - Sally and Tina in the extra photo
No macros today.... did not have the time.
But my Ricoh GRD arrived today in the mail.
Almost a "cult" camera for "serious" photography, very popular among "street" photographers.
The spartan and dated look hide a lot of features .. another manual to read and a few new concepts to learn and master. Like simultaneous priority to aperture & speed, snap focus etc...
No zoom at all.. it has a fixed prime lens and it has a an APSC sensor... the same size of most of DSRL sensor (the ones who are not full frame).. an APSC sensor packed in a pocket camera...
As my DSLR is packed with all the macro gear and it is about 3 months now I don't photograph anything other than insects I considered to acquire a pocket camera to go around with me all the time, because I'm missing to photograph more "ordinary" subjects
Extra Picture... my 1st shot... of course Sally & and Tina had to do the honours.
