By the Lake

Went with a client to walk at Lake Ontario Park. It was a chilly, blustery day, but sunny, and we were chased by hordes of midges, little black flies that invaded our mouths when we tried to talk. So we walked briskly and in silence, but with our eyes open to beauty around us, like an old wall that kept back the crashing waves.
