Be careful what you wish for .....

A week ago , I was staring at my desk , feeling low . Thinking I would rather be unemployed than sit there any longer . ..... And that wish came true . By Friday , I had handed in my notice and gone for good .
I wished for new people , new place of work , new direction , and to feel in a better place altogether . Today , it appears that wish has come true too . Someone is taking a chance on me , and I them . The next chapter of a new job starts on the 10th June . I have got a lottery ticket for tonight's draw ..... I feel I may be pushing my luck too far , but hey , two out of three so far isn't too bad .
