Poinsettia

This poinsettia is part of a Christmas basket which has happily been on the window ledge for the past five (?) months.

Suddenly, it seems to have shed its lovely red leaves/flowers except for this hardy little leaf which catches the morning light and shows off its colour. It's quite striking.

And on the subject of Christmas, only 219 sleeps to go :)
