What I saw...
As the title of my journal indicates, my daily photos are just bits and bobs that I see when I'm out and about. Today I took an early bus into Bath to run a few errands, and this is the view that I saw from the top of the double decker.
The current house at Kelston Park was built on a ridge overlooking the Avon River around the 1760s by John Wood, the Younger for Sir Caesar Hawkins, who was Serjeant Surgeon to Kings George II and III. Capability Brown was then commissioned by Sir Caesar Hawkins to lay out the park in 1767-8.
