Bleeding Hearts in the Garden

Dear Diary,

Every day in May there is something new blooming...some new inspiration for my photography.  Today it is the sweet bleeding hearts in the front garden.  Those tiny pink pouches dangling from flowing stems, trembling in the wind.  So lovely.

I'm photographing the apple blossoms this afternoon.  They are predicting a frost tonight and I want to be sure to capture their delicate beauty in case it is lost.  Sigh...spring in norther New England can be so cruel!
