Rape of the countryside

While driving to Edinburgh yesterday I made a short detour to visit Blipper Artyfartyannie and her husband where I was made very welcome with coffee and cheese scones! On the way back today I stopped, as usual, by the memorial to David Stirling above Doune. Although I took some more photographs of the man himself, it was the juxtaposition of the rape field and the wind farm that caught my eye. Rape field are always eye-catching, of course, even without a wind farm in the background.

As an afterthought, I popped in an extra of David Stirling looking out over the wind farm!
