Apologies, firstly for another peregrine and secondly if this detail of nature is a bit too graphic.

The peregrine had caught this pigeon, plucked it and is now carrying it to the nest to feed the chicks. Once fed she flew again with the remains and hid them from the male who has a tendency to accept easy food.
