Birthday tree

It's my grandpa's birthday today, and I was in a hurry after work to wrap his present before my mum picked me up to go over to his. I couldn't find any tape, but knew I had Christmas tape in with my craft stuff so I just used it. My grandpa didn't notice, but I was just going to tell him it was birthday trees on it. The paper was bright enough to overpower it!

I learned today that outwith is a word only used in Scotland. I didn't know that. I knew it wasn't a real word according to spellcheckers but I didn't realise it was a specifically Scottish unword.

I also got on seven trains. It has been a tiring but mainly productive day.
