Trees within a tree....

this is how I think of the Ash in our garden when the leaves start to open.

A first for me today, having a one to one with the person I manage, bit weird as we have been colleagues for eight years, think it went okay.  My review tomorrow for my new role, fingers crossed it goes well.  


So far the new role has meant taking on more work and most days I have to remind myself to do my original job which is organising fifteen UK based courses every twelve months plus finance. Let's hope the QQR went well for my boss today, she has been building up to this for quite some time and we won't have the definitive answer regarding funding for the 2016-2021 financial years until September but she will have a fair idea tomorrow.


Next big job for me is preparing the two offices for the arrival of new furniture on the 4 June.  Four of us are having sit/stand desks delivered, should be interesting.  Enough waffle, should be turning my brain off now.
