Food with a View!

It was my mum's 70th birthday in March... I'd given her a promise of afternoon tea so today we went to Aqua Shard on floor 31 of The Shard in London. Dad came too and we had a great table, right by the window, with spectacular views all around.

The food was delicious: two plates of sandwiches, scones with cream and jam and a large variety of gorgeous cakes... not to mention tea (coffee for mum) and champagne. Mum loved it... and that was what it was all about.

Completely full, we had a little wander by the river before heading home.
