Freebies

These came in the post today, safely wrapped as plug plants. They were a freebie offer from an online allotment newsletter I subscribe to and in conjunction with one of the big garden centre names. They are blight resistant and supposed to taste great too. We are asked to give feedback on how they perform.

So here they are, potted up and hopefully growing on to be happy healthy plants.

Getting a bit fed up with it being so cold despite being May....house was so cold at lunchtime I nearly put the heating on! However the peas, beetroot, broadbeans, spring onion and carrots are coming on and I picked our first luttuce today, yum!
