Ne'er cast a clout till May be out

Ne'er cast a clout till May be out is a phrase I have known all my life!
Does anyone else have something like it?  The month of May in England is very strange.  Most of our big garden centres make a small fortune in May because we have two bank holidays and the first one at the beginning of May is usually sunny and fine so everyone races off to the garden centre and spends all their money on plants for the garden.  Then the middle part of May can be cold, rainy and frosty (and all in one day!) so all their plants die!  The next bank holiday is at the end of May (this weekend) and we all rush off to the garden centres again and spend even more money!  We are a bit crazy and we do love our gardens (No. 1 hobby for the Brits.!).  So the little tree in the main photo has seen a bit too much sun and I have decided to move it to somewhere more shady.  So you can see my progress tonight and also a bit of tidying up with the "tree branch gobbler up" - this is definitely a blokes gadget - I love it and after gobbling up all the branches you end up with the stuff in the bucket which will compost down - great eh?
