The kids are all right

These days, it's not often that I get all of my kids in the same place at the same time: birthdays, Christmas, maybe Easter. That's about it.

But this weekend, Izzy was across from York to visit Charlie and Hannah in Manchester, so I seized the opportunity, packed Dan, Abi and Milly (and Milly's boyfriend) in the car, and drove down to Manchester for Sunday lunch in the bar where Charlie works when she's not busy with her full-time course.

As you'd expect, I love being with them all, and my favourite thing is to sit back and watch, and listen to them all chatting away.
