Today I didn't want Grannie to leave

It was Grannie's last day today, she has to get on a big aeroplane tonight and make the long journey back to Grampie.
We had a quiet morning at home and I helped Grannie with her packing which meant I helpfully pulled things out of her case!
Then we went out to Racecourse Road for lunch a bit of shopping. I did very well because Mummy bought me a soft toy donkey (which is really for her because Mummy loves donkeys!) and Grannie bought me a tickle monster glove which I think oaths funniest thing ever!
We went in to the city to meet Daddy for dinner after work and I sat next to Grannie and had lots of cuddles. Then it was time to drop her to the airport which was really, really sad and we all had a little cry. We have loved having Grannie staying with us and will miss her terribly.
