Last days...

This is the Christchurch Central Police Station building...or rather is was until the big EQ's damaged it and made it unsafe to be used.

It will be 'BLOWN UP' this weekend, which sounds very dramatic, but it is the most efficient way to demolish it  apparently.
( the public has been advised to stay clear of the area while the process is underway on Sunday afternoon!!)

A new Police Station has been set up already.
