Past Prime

When my husband and I were cycling on the trail Sunday we were amazed by all the trees in blossom (apple?).  Since our focus was cycling and getting exercise I didn't have my camera with me so all the way on the ride I was bookmarking places I wanted to return to photograph.  So, today was the day I returned, however, after Sunday night's torrential rain and last night's frost, all blossoms were past their prime.  Sigh.
