The Beast

Matilda, my Morris Minor Traveller, has a new stable mate; The Beast.

It's a 2003 Kia Sorento CRDI XS with a 2.5L auto diesel engine. More real 4x4 than SUV and it ticks all the boxes for me: Auto, leather seats, commanding height and vision, huge load space, can tow up to 3000kg  and I don't have to bend over double just to get into it.  

Just right for collecting the shopping from Waitrose....
