Worra Lorra Legs
We made a shower today - well, a tarp enclosure, ex roof-slate floor, roped onto the back of the house balcony to contain the buckets and jugs for bathing. Next door stands the shiny new 'Mohan' / 'Hamam' - a fantastic device (NZ have similar 'Thermettes'?) where you fill up, feed in a handfull of sticks / pinecones.. and 5 minutes later you have 20l of piping hot water. A simple jacket of steel - fire going inside - fuel dropped through a removable air intake from the top. This intake tube extends a few inches below the flue when inserted - without it the fire goes out, with - the draw engages and provides an ultra efficient heater. The Water inlet is a funnel with a long downpipe - filling the tank jacket from the bottom - and a spout at the top issues boiling water when you pour more cold in. We all want one.
Well - all except the millipedewhatsit, turfed out of his rocky home to make way.
