Knottman is not normally an enthusiast for surprise birthday gifts. He is happy if family look at the modest literary and musical items on his Amazon Wish List.

But this time he is delighted. Last Saturday when his family took him out to the V & A and for dinner they produced this imaginative gift. Yes folks this is a Knottman Blip printed onto four place mats. Thank you family you got it just right.

I wanted to blip this today before they go on holiday on Saturday. This is the time of year when other blips are queuing up. Todays walk provided photos of Lady's Slipper orchids coming into flower, Birds Eye Primrose and Herb Paris. Blip's rules mean I shall have to return over the next week. They are too good to be just extras and in any case that still hasn't worked with my iPad.
