Busy day!

Roy has been digging in a field drain from the top of the garden to the drain under the patio, to see if it will alleviate the "soggy garden syndrome" we seem to be suffering from. He's then going to level the flags which we laid when we moved in over 20 years ago - how time flies...
I was inspired to do some castlework - it doesn't happen very often, so I attacked all rooms with polish and hoover while the feeling was upon me! I even managed to get the whirligigg drier out for the first time too - it has either been too wet or too windy or both up to now...
Off to Ambleside visiting tomorrow, so we can both relax!
