Lucky Star

My dad left the office today and when he returned said he'd been near mine and so stopped and cut the grass. Then he said, "I've given everywhere a good going over with weedkiller while I was at it."  B*****

He gets rather enthusiastic with these tasks, hence no more poppies or grape hyacinths at the front! 

I was very pleased to see these still intact when I got home :) 

In other news, baby nephew cuddles are almost as good an anti-depressant as puppies. Fact.

Stella has news too...she had had a parcel delivered in our absence after winning a prize on Facebook. 1kg of fish skin treats. She's rather pleased! :)
