When you stop driving home and wander about and notice a few rooks watching you as you eat.
When you retreat to a spot you (and they) know poses no threat to either and you throw a bit of food down.
When the ones you've eyeballed are joined by the rest of the clan who squabble over the Jacobs herby crackers.
When the one with the dodgy wing (who can still fly thankfully) comes the closest.
When you're close enough to have a look into each others eyes and... just wonder.
