thank you all for your kind words yesterday.  i am humbled.  what started out as a "fun idea" has become a way of life.  

last night i came home to a "celebration dinner" cooked by my family.  after dinner i was handed a heavy box.  you guessed it - a macro lens.  smile.  smile.  smile.  today's blip was taken with my current lens.  as soon as the uv filter arrives, i'll be taking my new baby out for a spin.
