Students have a ball in the Cathedral

I must admit: I was very uneasy when I came across this.  Coventry University Students' Union were holding their Summer Ball in the ruins of the old Cathedral.  I am not remotely religious, but this place is special.  Is it too special for a Summer Ball?   Or is this a realistic way of opening the cathedral up to the next generation?  Or am I just jealous of their freedom, vitality and lack of responsibilities (no waking up by babies and young children!)?  We didn't have anything remotely like this when I was a student at Cov Uni/Poly more than a quarter of a century ago (possibly something to do with the Ents Officer making off with the cash).  Ok.  Yes.  I'm jealous!!!  Enjoy life and have a ball!
