Noises from the SW Front

Drifting Heart

The name of the painting we won at a charity do tonight. An "album cover" painted by a 12 year old named Zachary at a place called Free Arts Arizona. They specialize in art therapy for abused, neglected and homeless kids. This chap's painting illustrates his heart, breaking off from his family, who are drifting away as icebergs in the cold world under the northern lights. The lights themselves represent his ancestors looking down on him. We're proud to find a place for this in our house.
