Creature comforts

I bought myself this adjustable height bed tray table (for mother's day) so I can enjoy a cuppa and read, or do a crossword while snug and warm in bed.
According to the cat, the table does not go high enough for him to fit under, so I am left with doing arm stretching exercises just to reach the table...but my lap is oh so warm.
