A super day with great Winter lighting.

On the way Bark we met Keith who had an amazing electric bike (Haibike). The Boss had never seen one like this before as it actually needed you to peddle a bit but reduced the load with the electric bit that made the peddling easier.
Sorta Power assist.

There was a control that set how much the electrics helped and of course the more you peddled the further the bike went so what with Keith’s crock knees he was able to bike away for a couple of hours with no pain no strain including on bike trails with uphill bits.

There was another great feature called walk assist for when you were taking the bike up a flight of steps (as you do) the power bit cut in and the bike went up stairs on its own power.
It didn’t include a refrigerated cup holder for cold drinks so The Boss decided not get one. He also thinks that biking and looking for photos is a dead hazardous activity which leads to broken cameras, bent body parts and very discontented dogs who get left behind for safety reasons.
I can live with that.
