The lights

This is all a bit of an experiment, having a trial  play with Lightroom 6 and the so-called HDR feature. I chose a fairly extreme case, with very harsh bright lights against a pretty dark background. This is a blend of just two shots about 5 EV apart in exposure, and I think LR has done quite a nice job. The secret seems to be in having "auto-tone" turned on, otherwise the result tends to be too dark for my taste. More experimenting to be done and then there is the panorama feature to play with too.
