Tobermory

Following five fabulous days with J and K in Ardnamurchan, our party has now split. This morning we took the Calmac ferry from Lochaline over to Fishnish on Mull, while the others headed north to Aberdeen to celebrate K's sister's birthday.

At lunchtime Mr hazelh and I took a wander around Tobermory. As a long-time Womble fan, my earworm of the day has been 'Tobermory' from the Wombles' 1973 album Wombling Songs. I was thrilled to see that there was a little figure of Tobermory himself on display in one of the shop windows. (I know that this is not quite as delightful as yesterday's puffins, but nonetheless still fun to those of us of a certain age.) 

We're now settling into our bed and breakfast in Dervaig for a couple more days of holiday.
