Allotment again!

Did another little stint at the allotment this morning , beetroot and winter leeks in. Dithered over whether to put courgettes out in a bed but decided against it due to this ongoing cold weather and fear of frosts at night.
Everything now packed away and the plot will have to look after itself for a few days as we are going to Wales. Neighbours will water thirsty plants if needed but weather forecasts suggests that won't be necessary.
Will take the courgettes away with me so I can look after them.( how sad is that!)
Honestly they're worse than pets!
