Cactus

We had a tour around the shipyard - it was awe inspiring. The size of the ships and the oil vessels was stunning and I couldn't get my head around it. I will be designing the systems to go on these vessels - wow.

After another long day of work, I met up with a colleague from London who is now based in Okpo. It was good to hear some more about the place and to see what he thought of it. The cactus at the right hand end of the photo was given to me in one bar and I re-home it in this bar rather than to bring it home :-). We tried the local spirit which was interesting - no idea what it was except it was masked by Apple and Cinnamon flavouring. I didn't bring any home either.
