Flowers on the bridge

Summer must have arrived as the Mairie has put out all the hanging baskets.  They hang from every bridge and elsewhere.  I imagine they are a requirement for the village to retain its village fleuri status.  The flight back from Palma was uneventful, perhaps made more routine as Palma to Gerona is a Spanish internal flight.  I did manage some sleep last night.  The young people who had congregated on the plaza outside our window with their ghetto blaster decided to go home before midnight and the traffic went quiet in the early hours.  A 5am start though is always a shock to my system!
