The mating habits of the red plastic watering can

have never before been photographed. This very intimate, but occasionally violent event is unique in the garden centre kingdom. At the very point that the female collapses exhausted after the chase, the males will leap on top of her, and then other males and females will join in until the column becomes a mass of interlocking watering cans. At this point an alert staff member will call the supervisor, and hopefully, order will be restored.
