Don't you dare!

Every year I try to grow Nepeta or Catnip (or Catmint), but every year the local cats decimate the plant as they nibble, crush and generally get themselves high on the stuff.  So this year I placed the pot on the seat next to the raised pond surrounded by other plants, which seems to have done the trick.   However, would you believe it, this morning I caught my terracotta cat creeping up on the plant ....

I experimented with a new "differential focus"  technique for this, which is two shallow DOF photos blended together in PS, which I think at full screen almost gives a 3D quality to the shot.
