Feather Tor

It's not the most prominent Tor but it does have a distinctive tree!

Today we fancied another walk out on the Tors but we'd forgotten to check the firing dates. As we got out of the car we noticed the red flags flapping, so had to improvise our own walk. We stayed in the Merrivale area and ended up bagging five Tors in all.

This was my favourite just because of the lone tree.

Another great day weather wise - warm and sunny. It's brining on my freckles a treat!?
