Mouth of the Eachaig

There's a lot of roadworks on the Kilmun-Strone road just now as the council workmen add a pavement along the side of the river. It involves dumping huge piles of rock onto the river bank, which in turn involves huge machines. So there are traffic lights, and tonight we were caught long enough for me to leap out of the car and take this - because it's not an angle I see very often other than when we're moving.

Maybe the new pavement will make this a more familiar scene, but for now I was taken with the darkness of the nearer forest between the light on the water and the mistiness of the hills around Loch Eck.
