U is for Umbelliferous Plant

This cow parsley was providing a super source of nectar for a bee. It took quite a few shots to capture the image, what with the breeze and the fact that the bee kept flitting busily about.

The cow parsley was growing close to the underpass that I also photographed. It was far less photogenic!

Went a stroll as far as the M42 services and called at the local Jubilee celebrations. Sadly the cold windy weather seemed to have put most folks off.
