St Elmo's Fire

Another late-ish night and in the office all day so not much time for an interesting blip.

On returning home... guess what happened to be on tv... 80's classic St Elmo's Fire. I hate to admit it but I thought that movie was the coolest.

It is a pinnacle moment and basically sums up everything about the eighties, including how popular saxophone solos were. Rob Lowe, Judd Nelson, a very young Demi Moore, big glasses (vik), cardigans with full above ankle skirts, fake pearls, wayfarers, no computers, massive phones, matching male and female gelled mullets, thin leather ties and billiard clocks (bottom right).

Even the script was better than I remembered, however I don't think I'm being completely objective! So cool.
