Herding The Flock ...

It stopped raining. The birds are singing away lustily. The weather forecast predicts a dry day with some sun and many clouds. But with a more pleasant temperature than yesterday. It will be all in all about 15 ° C.

Early in the morning I see a green stem of a balsam black with lice. And where lice are, you often see ants. So here they are.

The photo was taken using a macro twin flash. The ants are moving so fast that without flash there's too much motion blur. Fascinating view, right? ... At least that's what I hope you will think of it ... ;)
