Feeding out

With the cows dried off for the winter, we start our daily ritual of feeding out in the mornings.  I haven't been out on the farm for quite a few weeks, and although it was chilly, it was great to be out in the fresh air having a look around the farm.

Here's Farmerboy feeding out straw to the cows. We have restricted how much grass they have, and given them more straw in, as this will allow their milk supply to dry up quicker.
