Stoke Rochford

A birthday trip out with my friend Helen for tea at Stoke Rochford Hall.

We had a wonderful private guided tour of the house beforehand. The hall was very badly damaged by fire in 2005 and we admired the restoration of the main rooms, oohed and aahed at the £5 million Rubens fireplace which thankfully survived intact and had a lovely wander around the gardens in hot sunshine.

Tea overlooking the terrace was incredible.
