The Pagoda at Parc de Bagatelle

A series of concerts are held this weekend at the Parc de Bagatelle, on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne.  Beautiful sunny day to admire the Rose Garden, and all the lawns, flower gardens, peacocks, etc.
This Parc and its Chateau was built in 1775 in only 74 days, on a bet between Marie Antoinette and the Comte d'Artois.  It was almost destroyed in the Revolution (!!) but was enhanced and improved in 1835 and finally sold to Paris in 1904.  It is a popular floral park.
