Our home for the next five days, well, the one on the left anyhow. A cosy, literally tight knit little hamlet.

First day of the competition, and after a long hang-hike we launched - with the early birds catching the worm. Warm and sunny in Yorkshire!

I had a good start, which at times was a bit of a melee, but then made a bad decision coming off the moors which put me on the deck 18km past the start cylinder. Pleased all the same.

Looks flyable for the next few days...
