Barn owl

Tackled piles of washing and piles of paperwork today! And then, late evening, a short walk from Wooler Common.

Spotted this splendid owl as we were driving down from the Common - it obligingly waited while I wound down the car window and messed around with the camera! Rather too far away and too dark for a decent shot, though.
