Just In Case

I dropped by the mill pond...just in case....and was pleasantly surprised by the sight of six cygnets. Had spent hours in the afternoon on the Broadmeadow Estuary swamplands attempting to capture the small brood of an elusive pen.... This unexpected bonus brood was just a simple matter of walking to the pond fencing and snapping away. They were only born tonight so nobody else around to capture the moment.... I was just lucky a friend had inquired as to their due date that prompted me to check in on my way home...just saying
