Still Up

The sun that is, here at Sun Up brewing. I've passed this place umpteen times but always while I'm traveling back and forth for work. It's awe but far from our usual stomping grounds and the car doesn't know the way home from here. We're having dinner with G&S tonight at a place not far from here and, since we're early, we thought we'd give Sun Up a shot. I'm on a passable Amber and K is on the Cherry Hefeweizen - tastes far better than I would have thought. Saw U2 last night - heard a quote from Noel Gallagher on the news that the screen they used as part of the show will raise the bar for stadium shows. He might be right. The screen was a mesh contraption about 40 feet high and 60 feet long that could be raised and lowered over an extension of the stage that ran almost the entire length of the arena. The could project omit, but the band could also walk through They looked like they were playing inside an enormous TV. It was brilliant
