Wonderful park on LBK Florida

The Joan M Durante Park is right next to the Euphemia Haye restaurant where my friends took me for a birthday celebration dinner. We had soft shell crabs in a horseradish cream sauce with scattered bay scallops, some shrimp and escargots, some wonderful soup and potatoes, and the Pear Waldorf salad was to die for. With gorgonzola cheese, candied pecans, and a pernod vinaigrette dressing,,,oh my, it was the best!  And we shared chocolate mousse for dessert, with a candle even. We are celebrating early as my birthday is not til June 5th, but my dear friend Pat will be away in the Carolinas by then, so she and Jimmy and Denise took me out for an early dinner. The we had to visit the neat park next door. The banyon tree was excellent, and the sky was so pretty! Hard to decide, but I liked the effect of the sky for my main blip and the banyon as an extra! You can tell I like food even more than nature. Though I like pictures of nature better than food pictures!
