Stuck indoors

It's raining again. Unlike the indomitable crowds filling London, I prefer to stay in the dry. So we are seeing the view on the kitchen window sill rather than the great outdoors.
I received the hibiscus as a thank you for organising a quiz and it produces one or two enormous orange blooms every day. I used to live in the tropics where we had a hibiscus hedge surrounding our garden, but they were the common red variety, not this stunning orange. The little orchid flower is a side shoot from an earlier bloom. Clever the way they do that!
Coco doesn't like the rain either.
