Betula utilis jacquemontii...

is a beautiful starkly white-trunked tree from the Himalaya. We have nearly 50 in our garden growing in a copse on the lawn and up and over a bund on our western boundary where the afternoon sun illuminates their golden autumn leaves.
The additional images show one of our scarlet oaks and our red oak which are all glowing at present...all delight us and it's not yet 20 years since we planted them.
